Teekay Shipping completed a 770sqm commercial office fit-out in Woolloomooloo in December of 2022. From the beginning of this project, Teekay was very conscious about of its carbon footprint, the overincreasing lead times due to supply chain backlog and climbing manufacturing costs related to various aspects of supply. It was
vital for us to partner with an Australian manufacturer for supply of quality furniture solutions as we are big on sourcing locally.
Fortunately for us, we identified Emanate Design as the ideal partner. James Davies and his team were very professional and
accommodating from the ‘get go’. Emanate had the right engagement from various levels of their organisation to understand our needs, and while we may have been a bit pedantic with our requirements, Emanate handled it with ease.
They were able to provide our required furniture solutions within a very tight timeline (6 weeks for workstations and 8 for remaining) given they are locally manufactured. In addition, their workstations were made from recycled materials further reducing our carbon footprint.
I have sourced quality furniture from several manufactures both local and overseas and I can comfortably say the Emanates products are on par with the top suppliers. Overall, we are a very satisfied customer.
I have been speaking with Aidan about installation back and forth now over the last couple of weeks and I can honestly say I have not met someone who is more suited to dealing with customers. He is respectful, courteous, clear in his communication and an all round champion. A genuine pleasure to have him arrive promptly at 6am this morning to start the install of the workstations with his team. He was also so lovely to his team as an aside and they worked quickly to get the job done to a great standard.
He has a kindness and decency about him that is hard to find today and is so well suited to the service industry because that’s what he actually provides. A service.
